Beyond Liver Support
- After the Root Cause Reset program ends, what can we do to make sure we don't lose all the progress we've made?
- After the Root Cause Reset program ends, what do you recommend for maintaining a healthy liver?
- Are you supposed to feel significantly better after the liver detox?
- Can you give recommendations for ideal TSH, T3, T4 and thyroid antibodies for a person with Hashimotos? Just got tested today and my TPO and Tg antibodies have skyrocketed. Feeling doomed.
- Do TPO antibodies attack only the TPO enzyme? If so, wouldn't that cause a buildup of iodine in the thyroid follicular? What is happening to all that iodide?
- Do we still have Hashimoto’s even if our thyroid is removed?
Hydration
- Are we allowed to drink seltzer water?
- I would recommend you stay away from the AquaTru water filter. Paying a lot for a "smart" machine which does not work once the power goes off or you turn the machine off. I see online that I am not the only one with the issue.
- I'm finding it a challenge to consume all the water I'm supposed to drink on top of the lemon water, green juice, matcha latte, and detox juice.
- Is reverse osmosis water safe to drink?
- What brands of reusable water bottles do you recommend?
- What water filter / brand of bottled water should I use?
Labs
- I heard you mention that many testing companies are less than reliable for their results. I've had Viome testing. Is this one that is less reliable, or more?
- After the Root Cause Reset, how long should we wait to repeat labs?
- After the Root Cause Reset, how long should we wait to repeat labs? Also, I started taking 1/2 spoon of Liver Reset for 3 days, then I increased it to 1 spoon. Should I start taking it two times daily next week?
- Could selenium or vitamin C supplements, or the regular consumption of carrot juice, affect my liver enzymes on a lab test?
- How do I know if my liver is processing well? Should I assess its progress by monitoring my bloodwork?
- How do I know what tests I need to do for toxicity? I already had mold testing, and it came out good.
Product Recommendations
- Any guidance about hand sanitizers? Some of them make my hands break out in hives an hour after using.
- Are cast iron pans good to use instead of porcelain?
- Are copper pots and pans OK?
- Are there any recommendations on a full house water filtration system that does remove fluoride? And would this be the ideal choice or is it mostly necessary to just remove toxins from the water we are ingesting?
- Can I use stainless steel pots and pans?
- Can men / males benefit from the program?
Sweaty Activities
- Are there supplements that boost energy so I don’t feel zapped after a hard cardio workout? After a really hard workout I end up completely drained. I often fall asleep for a few hours.
- Can I use essential oils in my bath?
- How do I get myself to sweat? I haven't sweated for years. What about an infrared mat?
- I'm wondering how much sweating we need to do. All my life (even way before my thyroid issues) I haven't sweat much except for my face. Do I need to figure out a way to sweat all over, or is my sweaty face enough?
- I've been researching the Sunlighten infrared spa and have lots of questions. Do you truly recommend this brand? Can it actually help when little else has? If so, how?
- My doctor told me to stop strenuous exercise. I was boxing 2-3 days/week, doing low-impact interval training 2 days/week. Now I only walk and do yoga. I really miss more strenuous workouts. Can I add them back in a few days a week?
Technical
- Aside from having lifetime access to all of the materials and email support for one year after purchase, I’m wondering if there is a possibility to participate in future Root Cause Reset launches at a reduced cost?
- Do we get a discount for the adrenal program? I can't find that information or how to go about it. I have already done the longer Hashimoto program.
- How can I save the important program files?
- How can I track my progress?
- How do I download the portal files to my computer?
- How do I get to videos in the portal?
Other Conditions
- Any advice on how to treat a large multinodular goiter? I don't want to have an operation, but will probably have to, as it continues to grow in size.
- Are tendonitis and plantar fasciitis associated with Hashimoto's or hypothyroidism? And if so, in what way? I've had problems with both.
- Are we more susceptible to catching colds and flus while following the Reset program during cold and flu season, because we are in process of healing? Or, are we less prone to getting sick because we are flooding the body with vitamins and nutrients?
- Can a wound that is still healing, say a root canal or just a cut on your finger, cause stress on your body and raise your antibodies? If they do raise antibodies, why?
- Can I participate if I have celiac disease?
- Can this program still be beneficial for someone with Graves’?
Medications
- I have an earache and am thinking of going to the doctor to see what it is. If antibiotics are prescribed can I take them during this Reset? Is there an alternative method to getting rid of my earache without antibiotics?
- Are antibiotics okay to take during the program? I will have to go on antibiotics for an infection.
- Does Levothyroxine contain gluten? I recently read that it does. If that is true, could my medicine keep me sick?
- Has anyone completely gotten off thyroid meds with Hashimoto’s?
- How do you know if you can reduce your meds? Do your levels of T3 and T4 have to be too high?
- How does one know if they need to add T3? Could we just use a large dose of levothyroxine?
Other Protocols
- Are colonics okay to use once the Reset is over?
- Can I do Root Cause Reset along with practitioner X's ____ protocol?
- Do you recommend vitamin C IV therapy during this program to help?
- I am planning on doing the Adrenal Transformation Program. Do I want to keep taking the Liver Reset Program supplements as the adrenal protocol begins, or discontinue? If so, which ones? (I have the MTHFR gene mutation.)
- I heard a lot of good stuff about cupping, and I wonder how that would be beneficial for us with Hashimoto’s.
- I'm confused about iodine. I've been wondering if hypothyroidism requires more iodine, but Hashimoto's needs less iodine.
