General Questions

  • I read that it's better to not mix fruits and vegetables, digestion wise. But I've been fine and am under the impression that it's fine if your digestion is working correctly. Would you agree with that?

  • I remember reading in the book that we should not drink really hot drinks. Of course, that is the way I love tea. Could you tell us why this is the case?
  • I see it’s recommended to have fermented foods. Would that include something really fermented like Kimchi? I’ve always heard that any fermented foods would make my SIBO worse, so I always stayed away.
  • I wonder if we can consume terebinth coffee (a.k.a. Pistacchio or Menengic coffee), which is caffeine-free. It’s a popular drink in Turkey, but I believe it can be found in other countries as well.

  • Is there a limit for berries? I usually put around 1 cup of berries in my smoothie, is that too much? Mostly wild blueberries and red/black currants.
