N-Acetyl Cysteine

  • Both days I took NAC, I started to have a headache a few hours later. I will try it one more time to see if it triggers a headache. If I have to stop, is there anything else I can replace with?
  • I'm looking ahead to the supplement list and times of day/dosages to take. You recommend taking two caps of NAC with lunch. I have read, though, that NAC is best absorbed on an empty stomach. Can you specify?
  • Is headache a common side effect from NAC?
  • Isn’t 1800 mg of NAC a day an extremely high dose? Also why does it burn going down or is it just my experience with it?
